Ellie decided she was staying with us as she kept escaping from the puppy run to come in the house and be with Zinq. I was unsure about keeping a puppy after my breast cancer diagnosis but she stayed anyway. Her pedigree goes back to my Dexter (Motlaisa Commander-In-Chief at Gaytonwood) on both sides of the pedigree and we lost him earlier in the year and she was born on what would have been his 13th birthday so it looks like fate took a hand here.
She started her showing career at the first Boston and District Canine Society Championship Show and was awarded second places in both Minor Puppy and Puppy which qualified her for Crufts 2007 and she will be just old enough to attend. Thanks to Tony Hird (Wyebank) for giving me a real boost to the start of 2007. She went on to gain a 3rd at Manchester Championship Show to qualify for Crufts 2008 under Beryl Stokes (Jobeka) and still only 6 and a half months old!!
